What you just said about N. Korea is interesting. Sounds just like the Telescreens that were ubiquitous in George Orwell's 1984 dystopia. And flat panel "smart" TV's have microphones and cameras, so kind of like Zoom meetings for the wizards hiding behind the networks who spy on you, and may one day even call out to you to get in line, like in 1984 when Winston was not doing his calestenics properly.
